Position Overview

Be a part of a nonprofit organization dedicated to aiding in the successful transition of military veterans and their families through the provision of housing, counseling, career development and comprehensive support. As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of the services and programs of the organization.







Responsibilities




  • Develop a therapeutic milieu in accordance with the organizations mission and philosophy

  • Monitor departments progress in meeting goals and objectives

  • Foster and develop a relationship with VA & other veteran-specific clinical programs

  • Supervise Program Team to include in delivery of services

  • Collaborate with the Clinical Department on all issues pertaining to client care

  • Supervise Workforce Coordinator in performance of duties related to workforce development and job readiness

  • Supervise and provide oversight for Facility Maintenance Team and related processes

  • Ensure cohesiveness of services provided and supervise department outcomes

  • Facilitate regular meetings with Program Team and report on program progress and outcomes

  • Maintain overall organizational integrity within the site and compliance with all federal and other regulations related to site safety

  • Approve Program Team requests for purchases for submission to Operations Department

  • Coordinate special projects

  • Identify and develop additional programs/resources at the site

  • Provide direct service to homeless veterans and non-veterans

  • Maintain the organizations vehicle inventory, including maintenance schedule, staff driving schedule, and have ability to safely operate vehicle

  • Oversee Food Service Operations, up to and including client food service workers, meal change orders, and meal count tracking

  • Ensure all Program Department inventory is properly procured, received, documented, and accurately maintained

  • Ensure site readiness related to emergency supplies and proper amount of emergency food in storage

  • Participate in weekly Programs Conference Call facilitated by the National Office designee







Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field

  • Two years' experience in program management with multiple programs, staff supervision, program development, and budget management as related to Programs

  • Display the utmost level of integrity

  • Excellent attention to detail, leadership skills, and conflict management skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral

  • Experience working with homeless veterans, non-veterans, and culturally diverse populations

  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse groups of individuals

  • Clean driving abstract with capability to safely operate agency-owned vehicles to include 15-passenger van

  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team





Compensation




  • Salary: $72,000 - $84,600
