What You'll Get to Do

CACI is looking for a Model Painter for support at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Model Shop to provide painting services, maintenance repairs, fixtures and facilities equipment support of the Model Shop and DoD systems.

More About the Role

* Model painting and resurfacing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing models

* Setup and prepping models, masking as necessary, denib and buff models after painting

* Prepare facilities for upcoming tests and assist engineers as directed.

* Light bodywork, setup and repairs, color matching/missing paint and tinting on the models

* Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on models

* Minor body repairs

You'll Bring These Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED

* Possess the strength and ability to maintain the models in the paint shop.

* Shall have an understanding of engineering units in both metric and English systems.

Hold Certifications in the following areas:

* PPG Certified Painter

* PPG Certified Prepper

* BASF Certified in Paint Tinting

* CHROMAX Pro Certified

* Axalta Pain Certified

* Must have the ability to understand standard policies and procedures and be able to work and communicate well with others in a team setting.

* Detail oriented with a flexible and collaborative approach to problem solving in line with data policies and procedures

* Must be able to obtain and maintain an DoD Secret Clearance

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

* Active DoD Secret Clearance
