Salary Range: $90.00 hr. - $100.00 hr.
Position: Transportation Project Manager
Location: Miami
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide direct supervision and oversight of personnel, as required, in the following areas:
- Professional Services Contract Management
- Project Management
- Expressway and tolling infrastructure construction.
- Traffic and ITS operations
- Planning, production and implementation of Capital and Transportation Improvement Plans
- Environmental and corridor studies
- Right of way program management
- Roadway, tolling and bridge design and construction
- Construction contract administration
- Constructability and Bid ability reviews
- Geotechnical, Survey and Public Involvement
- Program Controls
- Other areas as prescribed in the EAC Contract with the Client
- Analyze complex, technical and administrative problems accurately and provide recommendation and assistance in implementing an effective course of action.
- Provide consulting services on Federal, State and Local policies, laws, regulations, rules and ordinances related to transportation planning, design and construction contracts.
- Develop cost estimates and budgets, tracking for capital expenditures (planning, design, right of way, design build and construction funds), and construction fund drawdown schedules
- Facilitate contract negotiations and compliance for both professional and construction services
EXPERIENCE:
- Typically, ten (10) years of experience providing engineering/management services, at least two (2) of those years shall have been providing similar management level.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registration in Florida as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or licensed as a Professional Engineer in another state and able to obtain license in Florida.
