What You ll Do

As Executive Director of MVLE ( you ll lead a capable and dedicated team of 165 providing a range of community-based support services, customized skills training, and supported employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Our goal is to grow significantly over the next three to five years through both organic growth and acquisitions, and you ll be the leader of that effort. Reporting to The Fedcap Group CEO, you will have full P&L responsibility for an organization with current revenues of $12 million and be tasked with refreshing MVLE s vision as well as developing its operational growth and marketing strategies.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations and providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure above average service management, process optimization, and brand identity across all MVLE units.
  • Driving the formulation of strategic growth plans, setting ambitious targets, and guiding the organization in achieving these mission and business objectives which include scaling the business from $12 million to $50+ million over the next two to three years.
  • Cultivating an ever-evolving, responsive, and proactive vision for MVLE; harnessing innovative marketing avenues to boost brand visibility and revenue; and engaging dynamically with our core demographic to ensure attuned service delivery.
  • Expanding MVLE s online and direct-to-consumer business, enhancing brand and marketing capabilities, especially on digital platforms.
  • Supporting the M&A pipeline, enhancing fundraising efforts, and leveraging MVLE s brand awareness.
  • Driving efficiency across the back-office infrastructure with a view to maximizing opportunities and guiding the organizations in achieving financial, mission, and operational objectives.


You re a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master s degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in an executive leadership role, including full P&L responsibility.
  • Experience in providing services across the disability sector as well as obtaining and managing related government contracts.
  • Vision and leadership ability to design, implement, and deliver groundbreaking services and programs as well as build a consulting and advisory capacity, all of which measurably and meaningfully uplift the lives of individuals with disabilities.
  • Ability to grow the business profitably amidst an evolving health and disability landscape through best-in-class strategies, brand development and revitalization, expansion, and robust channel development including fundraising.

Since 1971, we have successfully provided a broad range of services that cater to the diverse needs of individuals through specialized training and services to foster their personal and professional growth. We provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to find their independence through community-based social activities, supported employment and customized skills training. Together, we work to accomplish these goals by utilizing an extensive network of partners and cultivating relationships with government and affiliate agencies.
