Description
Primary responsibility is order selection, which includes:
- Retrieving products for customer orders
- Checking product for damage and processing in accordance with company procedures
- Ensuring that products are packaged and labeled properly
- Efficiently utilizing computerized systems and RF technology
- Assist walk-in customers with pick-ups, returns, etc.
- Maintain the quality and accuracy of data
- Assist in keeping warehouse clean and neat
- Other duties as needed
Position Requirements QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Two years warehouse experience using RF handheld devices
- Experience with the safe operation of pallet jacks and forklifts
- Math skills and organization, spatial abilities
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally
- Must be detail-oriented, self-directed and able to work independently
- Knowledge of plumbing, heating and HVAC products/items helpful
