Team Lead Inventory & Warehouse GOM Supply Chain
will be part of the
GOM SCM Field Business Process Department
and will support
the Gulf of Mexico Supply Chain Management Team
in managing both short and long term planning as well as in controlling program execution while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This will be done by working closely with the Assets, Plants and Operational Support groups to gather, analyze and reconcile all necessary data to allow execution of these plans.
Oversee and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support as neededManage custody of materials including the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods and materials, in compliance with company policies and proceduresConducts periodic physical inventory countsEnsures compliance with internal practices and external policies, procedures, guidelines, and governance.Monitors the operation and performance of the facility. Takes appropriate action when necessary to ensure compliance of safety, efficiency, environmental and administrative guidelines.Handles day-to-day tactical issues independently with little or no supervisionTroubleshoot and resolve any issues related to inventory and equipmentParticipate in process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs
Required:8+ years of warehouse and inventory experienceSolid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processesStrong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and other stakeholdersAttention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerpointPhysically able to withstand heat dust, minor lifting typical in pipe yardsAbility to travel up to 15% of the timeOccidental is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
