In the summer months the average hours are 25-28 hours per week, and during the school year the hours are 10-15 hours per week. 1 day per week is required on-site in the office.Corporate Affairs:Review of regulatory filing requirements and assist with organizing relevant data into workflow softwareCreation of duplicate corporate minute books for non-US subsidiariesAssist with the preparation of corporate registry and regulatory filingsReview and organize corporate documents with specific focus on Asia Pacific branchesContract review and assist with negotiation of new contracts coming into Corporate AffairsReview and organize template legal documents on legal driveAssist with preparation of responsive information to Finance of quarterly updates for the Comprehensive Annual AnalysisReview proposed client nondisclosure agreements for purposes of incorporating provisions consistent with company standard nondisclosure formOther tasks on an as-needed basis, as determined by the Corporate Affairs DivisionLitigation:Organizing legal document repositoryPreparation of demand packages in subrogation matters, including file review, communications with claims adjusters and engineersLegal researchAssist attorneys with preparation of power-point presentationsAssist with review or Leases in order to determine insurance coverageAssist with gathering of electronic discoveryOther tasks on an as-needed basis, as determined by the Litigation DivisionRequired Education:2L or 3L law studentTop 25% of classRequired Skills:Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work both independently and as a team memberProficient in Microsoft OfficeOrganized, detail oriented, and analyticalHighly Preferred Skills:Computer Science backgroundThe hiring range for this position is $33 per hour. The final salary offer will vary based on individual education, skills, and experience.
