Job Details
The Transporter is responsible for the transportation of consumers.
This a part-time position. The schedule is Monday-Friday and the shifts are split. Morning pick-ups start at 6:30am, and afternoon pick-ups start at 3:30pm. Transportation provided in Franklin or Warren County.
Responsibilities include:
Drives within posted speed limits with passengers in their seatbelts while vehicle is in motion
Obeys safety regulations and traffic laws
Requires working in a team environment
Attends 20 or more hours of continuing education per year, passes initial/annual physical, and passes required classes such as CALM and CPR
Reports and schedules any vehicle maintenance needs
Reports any emergency breakdowns or accidents per company policy
Completes vehicle inspection logs
May provide support with conflict resolution and support members when crises arise
Communicates any updates regarding members with supervisor and other staff
Assist with developing daily transportation routes and schedules
Other duties as assigned

Report any emergency breakdown or accident as required to transportation manager
Follow agency van usage guidelines

Attend all trainings as required by Compass Health Network, Accreditors, and Funders
