  • Our client needs additional support due to the current workload

Part Time AP Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • AP will be the most important task for Part Time AP Specialist to complete
    • Part Time AP Specialist will enter vendor invoices including credit cards for domestic needs and overhead payments
    • Part Time AP Specialist will be responsible for PO's - Reviewing PO requests and entering into the system
    • Part Time AP Specialist will issue payments
    • All AP is done in Unanet
    • End of the month is heaviest for vendor invoicing (a lot are consultants and subcontractors); approximately 100 payments/month
    • Weekly check runs on Fridays - Mostly ACH, wires, and foreign currency payments
  • Part Time AP Specialist will complete ad hoc tasks will include (as time allows):
    • AR - billings to clients for domestic contracts. Approximately 15/month. Using Unanet to generate invoices; then submission to clients will vary from emailing invoices to using a government platform. Some collections - will review the aging and record the customer payments.
    • Will review banking transactions - ensure all transactions are accounted for whether AP or AR
    • Account reconciliations (including operating, deposit, and credit card reconciliations)

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of AP experience required for Part Time AP Specialist role (ideally should have accounting experience outside of AP)
  • Unanet experience
  • Previous government contracting experience
  • Excel - pivot tables, VLOOKUP's
  • Degree is a plus but NOT required
  • Previous reconciliation experience is a plus, but our client will train on this task
