We are currently looking for a Materials Packer to join our team.
**Responsibilities:**
* Review the finishing instructions section of the Job Spec Sheet for packing requirements.
* Gather all packing materials for the active job to packing area (pallet, cartons, core plugs, bags, etc.)
* Construct small and large boxes and cartons to hold and ship finished products.
* Pack finished set of rolls into cartons with required packing materials as stated on specification sheet.
* Apply the correct tags and labels to products and cartons to identify and sort finished inventory.
* Transport completed and labeled skids ready to ship to the finished goods staging area.
* Ensure smooth operation and assist machine operators in gathering supplies.
* Responsible for housekeeping and cleanliness of work area/production zone.
* Related duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
* High school education or equivalent.
* Exhibits a safety-first attitude in all that is done, from proper personal protection equipment compliance to keeping the work environment safe and hazard-free. Compliance with all workplace and safety standards required.
* Detail oriented and can focus for long periods of time.
* Ability to read and follow all specifications on the job specification sheet.
* Capable of working in a team environment and alone with a high sense of urgency.
* Ability to stand and move around work area for long periods of time.
* Possess skills to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
