As a Material Associate, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials to and from production lines, storage areas, and trailers.Founded in 1928, MAU's client is continuously driving change by aiming to accelerate its electrification strategy, increasing revenue from electric vehicles, and achieving carbon neutrality by 2035.What We Offer $17.50 per hour 1st shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM 3rd shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Health benefits, including telehealth medical services Opportunity for advancement Referral bonuses What We're Looking For Willingness to work weekends High school diploma or GED (preferred) 3+ months of experience in Powered Industrial Truck operation Active forklift certification/license (preferred) Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems (preferred) Experience in a fast-paced, industrial environment using Lean manufacturing methodologies Solid computer skills, including inventory software, Excel, and Word Strong safety aptitude with great attention to detail and accuracy High sense of urgency, with an initiative to meet deadlines Exceptional sound judgment and decision-making skills Proficient interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work alongside and communicate effectively with various levels of the company Ability to perform required tasks while standing for the duration of the shift, lifting up to 35 pounds, climbing onto and off of lifts, walking long distances, being exposed to varying temperatures (non-climate-controlled environment), bending, crouching, twisting, and performing repetitive motions What You'll Do as a Material Associate Safely operate powered material handling equipment, such as sit-down forklifts, stand-up lifts, tuggers, and electric jacks Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, baskets, and shelves manually Supply parts to the assembly and machining departments Maintain line inventory to ensure no downtime Enter information into SAP and other required systems accurately and efficiently Support 5S and housekeeping activities Utilize appropriate deviation areas, hold tags, etc., to process defective parts through nonconforming material procedures Adhere to FIFO standards throughout all storage areas and material flow points Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow box-cutting safety protocols Perform other tasks as assigned
