Our Customer Service team within our Revenue Cycle department is hiring for a Correspondence Clerk. We are looking for an attentive individual who will be responsible for the electronic data management of all patient account documentation. This includes retrieving and sorting mail, scanning documents, and supporting hard copy billing. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting operations for our revenue cycle functions.
**Responsibilities**
A day in the life of an Correspondence Clerk at Hackensack Meridian *Health* includes:
* Sorting and distributing mail to management and billing team members.
* Accurately scanning documents into electronic accounts.
* Scan lockbox remittances as they are received.
* Prepare Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) documents for printing and distribution to the billing team.
* Reviews to ensure that ERA uploads and documents are uploaded into the correct file.
* Prepares material for various internal and external audits.
**Qualifications**
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
* High School or GED.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
