summary Remedy Southside looking for an Order filler at Pen Distribution warehouse on the Southside(off Beach BLVD) during busy season! Shift : 3:30pm- 11:30pm Pay: $16.50 POSITION SUMMARY: Process full and split case orders in an accurate and timely manner to meet customer demands. Must have experience using the RF scanner and Pallet jack. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Accurately pick and pack full and split case customer orders using established guidelines and procedures. Assist with completing orders in partial lanes by labeling and releasing for shipment. Assist in palletizing outbound shipments when individual case labeling is required. Assist in rework, repackaging of damaged or discontinued product. Back-up in the process of e-commerce orders including daily replenishment, picking, packing, creating new item locations, inventory movement for order completion, shipping, and daily manifest. Process and ship daily promotional literature, pen sample requests to existing and potential customer based on their shipment requirements. Processing of incoming and outgoing mail according to guidelines and procedures, when necessary. Sustain 5S lean guidelines and procedures. Recommend Lean process changes and improvements. SKILLS REQUIRED: Basic math and computer skills are necessary. Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly. Able to adapt and react to changes in the work priorities. Use of scan gun device. Able to operate material moving equipment. required-skills: High School
