**LOCATION:** Albuquerque, New Mexico

**STATUS:** Part-time, up to 28 hours per week

The Salvation Army In Albuquerque, New Mexico is looking to fill a Client Service Representative position in the Family Services Division. The successful candidate for this position will have a working knowledge of community resources, the ability to work with people in emotional crisis and to work under stressful conditions.

The Family Services Client Service Representative will do client intake including interviewing candidates to assess their need and entering and maintaining records in a database. This person will prepare daily weekly and monthly reports. This position will coordinate and network with community providers and assist in maintaining community resource listings. This employee will assist with preparing food bags and with seasonal social service programs.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

* High School Diploma or GED

* Computer experience

* Working knowledge of community resources

* Ability to work with persons in emotional crisis and to work under stress

* Ability to develop and maintain a professional working relationship with clients and staff alike

* Valid New Mexico Drivers License with a clean DMV record from the past three years

* Basic office skills

* Bilingual preferred but not required

* Knowledge of Salvation Army policies and procedures

* Understanding and agreement with The Salvation Armys evangelical and spiritual mission

* Able to respond to authority and work within a hierarchical chain of command structure

* Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:**

Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
