Job Details
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodial Worker to join our team. As a Custodial Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the bar, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our patrons and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of all areas within the bar premises.
- Empty trash cans and replace liners regularly.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
- Wipe down surfaces, such as tables, chairs, bars, and countertops, to maintain cleanliness.
- Clean glass surfaces, such as windows and mirrors, to ensure they are free of smudges and streaks.
- Replenish restroom supplies, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Ensure proper storage and disposal of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Monitor and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of events, as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and adhere to company policies.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper usage and storage.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with staff and customers.
- Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines and the ability to follow them.
