Damage Field Investigator (East Coast)

Job Details

Project Resources Group s (PRG) Outside Plant Damage (OPD) department is looking to fill a traveling or rover role for a Damage Field Investigator on the cable and telecom side. This position is ideal for a current damage investigator but could be filled by anyone with a commanding knowledge of the field investigator role who is willing to be on the road to fulfill temporary needs in various markets across the country. Candidate must live near an airport on the East Coast.

Position Responsibilities:

• Continue to lend local market field management and daily claims support as prescribed by the regional field manager.
• Be available to travel to any active OPD market, often on short notice, for a few days up to 6-8 weeks as needed to fill in as a Damage Field Investigator in the field.
• Work directly with all the regional field managers, director, operations team and recovery team to fulfill fieldwork requirements for designated markets in need.
• Work directly with the client(s) and other PRG Damage Field Investigators in the market you are filling in to fulfill claims needs.
• Potentially assist in getting new markets for existing or new clients off the ground.

You should possess the following skills and abilities to be successful in this role:

• Reliable and presentable personal vehicle with valid driver s license and current insurance; min BI/PD 100/300/100.
• You should be able to demonstrate a history of reliability as a damage field investigator with outstanding claims submissions.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills that have led to consistently short turnaround times on claims and high recovery and settlement percentages.
• Track record of quick response to damage calls.
• Track record of outstanding client relations and build out of current market for maximized damage notifications.
• Exemplary computer, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to be flexible in adapting to the needs of PRG management and the client.
