Registered Nurse opening in support of the National Intrepid of Center Excellence in Bethesda, MD caring for patients with traumatic brain injury.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 40 hours
- No nights, weekends or federal holidays
- No on-call

Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of care coordination.
- Provide nursing expertise about the coordination of care process, including assessment, planning,
implementation, coordination, and monitoring. Identify opportunities for care coordination and
identify and integrate local processes. - Develop and implement local strategies using inpatient, outpatient, onsite and telephonic followups.
- Develop and implement tools to support case management, such as those used for patient
identification and patient assessment, clinical practice guidelines, algorithms, Care Point and MHS
Genesis software, and databases for community resources. - Integrate coordination of care and utilization management and integrating nursing case
management with social work case management.
Qualifications:
- Possess an Associate degree from an accredited nursing program
- The qualified Registered Nurse will, have a minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
- Valid Registered Nursing license from any US jurisdiction
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) from an American Heart Association Program or the American Red Cross
