**Description**

The Vermont Teddy Bear Co. is seeking a Warehouse Data Specialist to join our Distribution Team. This position maintains virtual records necessary to drive warehouse functions including back stock bin management, front bin replenishment, new inventory stocking and storage, and down stocking and consolidating product as needed. Data tracking and record updates via csv upload are required. The Warehouse Data Specialist performs all daily warehouse distribution tasks and transportation responsibilities. Requires use of NetSuite software, RF Smart handheld scanner devices, and chrome books with an emphasis on accuracy.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Maintain NetSuite and RF Smart warehouse related records.

+ Maintain Item Bin Enhancement records needed to drive replenishment.

+ Monitor floor level stock needs and direct replenishment.

+ Update back stock floor level product assignments and facilitate shifts.

+ Monitor space capacity and identify consolidation opportunities.

+ New product stock put-away planning and coordination.

+ Coordinate with Order Fulfillment around front location activities.

* Organize and ensure care of goods within warehouse location. This involves:

+ Storing goods within an established locator system that is neat, efficient, and ensures goods. can be retrieved or counted easily by all staff.

+ Taking steps to ensure goods are kept clean and otherwise free of damage.

+ Move, process, and confirm internal and external transfers.

+ Retrieve inventory from the warehouse as needed to keep all fulfillment bins stocked.

+ Process received product into the warehouse.

+ Bulk pack merchandise to meet company standards.

+ Down-stock, consolidate, and rezone product as necessary.

+ Able to be forklift certified and operate the company truck.

* Support inventory control functions such as:

+ Cycle counting, bin auditing and labeling and relabeling goods and cartons.

+ Perform both audits and cycle counts of FBA/Marketplace.

+ Research discrepancies and product movement in NetSuite.

+ Assist with year-end audi.t

* Maintain security and cleanliness of warehouse.

* Responsible for adherence to the Vermont Teddy Bear Companys inventory control policies and procedures.

* Follow and enforce all ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by the Vermont Teddy Bear Company and the department.

* Other Duties as Assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* Strong computer skills must include Excel or equivalent experience. Database experience a plus.

* Experience working with a scanner enabled warehouse management system.

* Flexibility to work long hours leading up to and during our peak volume periods.

* Valid driver's license, with good driving record preferred.

* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and a desire to exercise them.

* Able to operate heavy equipment.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**

* HS Diploma or equivalent
