Our client is a long-standing law firm in DC!
Due to growth, they are hiring an Entry-Level Accountant in their DC office.
Position is hybrid (2 days remote, 3 days in office) after training.
Pay: $24-26/hr

Overview of the Entry-Level Accountant role:

Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts monthly (including accounts payable, prepaids and other liability accounts) for monthly closing process.
Transaction processing including invoices, cash receipts, credit cards, and collections.
Maintains financial records for subsidiary companies by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close.
Process expense reimbursements, international wires, and student award payments.
Communicate with departments and vendors to resolve issues/discrepancies relating to invoices and payments.
Prepare and enter journal entries for prepaids and month end invoice accruals.
Maintain Vendor and Journal Entry files.
Assist with financial audit as needed.
