**Description**
HHHunt's Spring Arbor Senior Living of Frederick is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to be responsible for maintaining a clean and inviting environment within our community. The ideal candidate for this role will have a pleasant, customer-focused demeanor and enjoy working with the senior population.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
**Cleaning Functions**
* Clean residents bathrooms and common bathrooms as assigned
* Dust, vacuum and empty trash in residents rooms, entryways, hallways and common areas as scheduled
* Wash windows as scheduled
* Clean carpets and upholstery and move furniture to aid cleaning process
* Maintain a sufficient stock of cleaning supplies and load cleaning cart as necessary
* Ensure the cleaning cart is properly secured at all times
**Residents Rights Functions**
* Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents rights at all times and report observed violations
* Observe residents and report concerns as necessary to the Supervisor In Charge (SIC)
* Assist or obtain assistance for residents when necessary
* Maintain positive communication and helpful attitude when interacting with residents, guests and co-workers
**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:**
* Ability to resolve residents housekeeping needs in a timely and efficient manner
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions for task completion
* Well groomed and ability to follow dress requirements
* Knowledge of safety and sanitary rules and requirements
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
* High School diploma or equivalent preferred
* Experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred
* Must be 18 years or older
* Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a substantial safety or health threat to self or others
* Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment
