**Description**

**This role is part of our new 12 Hour Shifts.** **Start Time 6:30 p.m**

**Training will be for 6-12 weeks with 8 hour shifts, some flexibility is required.**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** Other duties may be assigned.

* Unload inbound shipments safely and receive according to Amys Kitchen Receiving Procedures and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store product and accurately record storage locations for purposes of inventory control.

* Pull and prepare product for shipping, transfer or usage by manufacturing (staging) ensuring that the exact item and quantity is pulled and shipped, transferred or staged.

* Efficiently, safely and with minimum damage, move products or materials from/into staging, storage or on to transportation.

* Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory accuracy, control and security are maintained. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts when required.

* Inspect PIT before usage, keep equipment, tools and company property neat and clean. Change and charge PIT batteries as needed.

* Sorting, wrapping, packing, repacking as needed. Sort and repair pallets when necessary.

* Clean containers, trailers and truck bays as requested.

* As assigned, to provide customer service to Amys Employees with respect to maintaining onsite vending equipment for Amys Kitchen products, providing customer service for Amys employee orders, and the prompt and accurate receipt and delivery of all express mail/freight deliveries.

* Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be certified PIT operator

EDUCATION

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCE

* Six months to one year related experience.

SKILLS

* Must be able to speak and read English or Spanish.

* Must have basic English verbal skills.

* Bilingual written/verbal skills English/Spanish are preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

* Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.

* Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

* Ability to add and subtract numbers and to multiply and divide and understand percentages.

* Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

* Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Valid motor vehicle license and certification as PIT driver
