**Essential Functions**
- Works shipping orders:
* Reads order.
* Reads tape measure and calipers; uses tape measure and calipers to measure material.
* Climbs on material to locate and pull material for loading.
* Bends and stoops to handle chains, slings, spreader bars and/or any other material handling equipment needed to work shipping orders.
* Bends to floor level to locate and pull material for loading.
* Records accurately all Quality Assurance information.
* Reads color charts accurately to determine thickness and/or composition of material.
* Lifts 45 pounds, on a frequent basis.
- Loads the worked shipping orders onto delivery trucks:
* Climbs on trucks to position material properly on truck.
* Verifies that material loaded on truck corresponds to the work order.
- Unloads material from railcars and trucks for inventory:
* Climbs into railcar and on truck; includes climbing on the material as needed.
* Lifts, bends and stoops to handle chains, slings, spreader bars and/or any other material handling equipment used to unload material.
- Records accurately all Quality Assurance information on inbound material.
- Places inbound material into the proper storage locations in the warehouse.
- Operates overhead and gantry cranes safely with either remote control or push button control box.
**Non-Essential Functions**
- Demonstrates ability and responsibility to perform other duties assigned by the foreman as necessary to complete the shift.
- Cleans and polices assigned work areas.
