As a Specialist of Inventory Control, you will play a key role in driving improvements and change in the logistics operation. You will work directly with the Director of Logistics to define, drive, and launch strategic initiatives across our fulfillment centers and supply chain with a focus on improving efficiencies and delivering customer centric solutions.

+ Perform cycle counts and audit transactions to validate overage and shortage claims for inbound and outbound shipments

+ Work with warehouse management team to investigate and reconcile inventory variances identified through cycle counts

+ Analyze on hand inventory, inventory turn rates and order history to optimize stock levels and reduce inventory obsolescence

+ Optimize storage and slotting methods based on SKU profiles

+ Assess current packaging and shipping materials and determine optimal packaging solutions

+ Work with IT to maintain SKU master data integrity and correct inaccuracies

+ Compile data and report on key inventory metrics

+ Monitor and track inbound inventory from point of origin to warehouse

+ Collaborate with the logistics team to implement best practice initiatives across all distribution centers


Required:

+ B.A. in relevant discipline (i.e.: Logistics, Supply Chain, etc.)

+ 4-5 yrs demonstrated experience in Inventory, Logistics, Fulfillment, Operations

+ Demonstrated experience with inventory analysis and inventory improvement initiatives

+ Experience working with high volume of SKUs 2k+

+ Experience using WMS, TMS, ERP software (Experience with Oracle ERP a plus.)

+ Proficient with data analytics and reporting

+ Strong/Advanced knowledge of MS Excel

+ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

+ Comfortable and able to interact with and present to all levels of management.

+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

+ Willing to travel as needed to support project initiatives and go-live events.

+ Self-starter problem solver.
