Part-Time - Assistant Cook - Drug and Alcohol Treatment Facility

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Days and some weekends

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Experienced, Part-Time Kitchen Cook to Assist Head Chef.
• Clean Driving Record.
• CA Food Handler Certificate Required.
• Must have ability to work Monday-Friday with some Weekends.

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Prepares ingredients and cooks meals following standardized recipes
• Cleans and sanitizes all work areas, equipment and utensils
• Assists with transporting and delivering cooked meals
• Has knowledge of standard methods, materials, procedures, and regulations of food preparation and service
• Knowledge of safety procedures, including safe temperatures at which ingredients must be kept and to which food must be prepared to avoid foodborne illness
• Ability to exert moderate physical effort in medium work requiring bending, reaching, stretching, lifting, grasping, and being on feet constantly
