Job Summary:
The Pack and Ship position manually prepares packages according to written or computer-generated orders. This position will be responsible for proper labeling, boxing, and storage of items that will be shipped to customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Observes operations and inspects packaged items for conformance with specifications
* Tallies, weighs, transports, stacks, and arranges products and packed containers
* May obtain and sort items to be packaged and replenish packaging supplies
* Arranges orders from shelves, bins, or warehouse stock
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Ability to understand and follow directions
* Ability to lift/move heavy objects
* Problem-solving skills
* Detail oriented
Education and Experience:
* High School Diploma or GED preferred
* Experience in a packaging role is a plus
* Experience working with hand scanners and using basic computer functions
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods of time
* Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly
