Job Overview:

We are seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to join our team as Unarmed Security Guards. As an Unarmed Security Guard, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and security of our client's premises, assets, and personnel. You will be entrusted with maintaining a visible presence, deterring potential threats, and responding to any security incidents professionally and effectively.



Responsibilities:

  • Security Presence: Maintain a high-visibility presence, serving as a deterrent to unauthorized individuals and potential security threats.

  • Access Control: Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and conducting thorough searches as required.

  • Surveillance: Keep a vigilant watch over the premises, using CCTV systems, patrol routes, and other monitoring equipment to detect and report suspicious activities.

  • Incident Response: Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, following established protocols and procedures.

  • Crowd Control: Manage crowds during events, ensuring a safe and orderly environment while addressing any disturbances or conflicts that may arise.

  • Report Writing: Accurately document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed written reports, maintaining clear and concise records.

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and employees, offering assistance and information as needed.

  • Safety Measures: Enforce safety regulations, fire prevention protocols, and emergency procedures, taking immediate action to mitigate risks or hazards.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other security team members, supervisors, and law enforcement agencies to ensure a coordinated and efficient response to security situations.

  • Continuous Monitoring: Remain alert and attentive at all times, proactively identifying and addressing potential security vulnerabilities or breaches.




Requirements:


  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Certification: Possession of a valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations.

  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) Card: Possession of a valid TWIC card is required. A TWIC card is a U.S. government-issued identification card for individuals who need unescorted access to secure areas of maritime facilities and vessels regulated by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The candidate must provide proof of a valid and current TWIC card during the application process.

  • Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and perform security duties for extended periods, often in challenging weather conditions.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Observation Skills: Keen attention to detail, exceptional situational awareness, and the ability to quickly identify and assess potential security risks.

  • Integrity and Reliability: Trustworthy and dependable, with a strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.

  • Conflict Resolution: Ability to handle challenging situations calmly, defuse conflicts, and make sound decisions under pressure.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per the assigned schedule.

  • Legal Compliance: Familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, and protocols governing security operations.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to a reasonable weight.
