General Summary:
The Clothing Department Associate is responsible for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining the Apparel department, assisting customers, and any other duties assigned by the Apparel Manager.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Check in with manager at the start/end of shifts, complete daily checklists provided by manager.
Responsible for general upkeep and cleanliness of department.
Answer and complete any apparel-related phone calls.
Ensure all product styles/colors/sizes are well represented on the salesfloor.
Notify manager if signage is needed for sales floor.
Assist and complete special orders for customers; gather proper information and give to the department manager.
Overall merchandising of the department in accordance with manager direction.
Assist manager with suggested orders.
Assist with seasonal merchandising of department.
Assist in receiving goods as needed: both regular and seasonal orders.
Assist cashiers with apparel returns/damaged product/defective goods.
Assist with customer issues/concerns on apparel goods.
Work with the manager to set signage and merchandise for sales.
Education/Training: High School, GED equivalent or attending
Physical Demands: Standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50lbs) and climbing
