The Opportunity:

As a Transportation Specialist on our aviation and transportation team, you'll provide strategic leadership expertise in evaluating new technologies, performing risk assessments, assessing operational needs, and developing implementation plans for the integration of new entrants and emerging technologies. Your experience in integrating shared technical and strategic portfolios is key to delivering a client-focused solution that promotes standardization of processes to support efficiency and effectiveness in the client.

In this role, you'll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and developing strategic artifacts for shared technical portfolios that integrate new entrants and emerging technologies into the client's system. You'll work with a large community of aerospace experts across the firm and collaborate with clients and technical project leads to deliver world-class solutions that successfully implement cross-enterprise portfolio activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. This will include a need to conduct various qualitative and quantitative assessments to identify operational integration opportunities and shortfalls as concepts evolve.

Your strategic planning expertise will help our clients facilitate priorities by aligning needs, opportunities, and recommendations from stakeholders to standardize processes that expand and improve their capabilities. You will play a critical role in identifying challenges and opportunities that align to other enterprise strategic plans and provide recommendations for improving air traffic operations.

You Have:

* 7+ years of experience providing support to strategic analysis, aviation operational concept development, and emerging technologies requirements elicitation tasks as part of a team supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

* 7+ years of experience conducting research, evaluations, and studies that present recommendations in support of FAA long-term and short-term operational plans

* Experience with work breakdown structures, financial models, schedule development, technical performance measurement, program management governance, budget analysis, investment analysis, and milestone development

* Experience developing briefings, presentations, and other documentation to support internal program audiences and senior U.S. government staff

* Experience working with Microsoft office suite tools

* Ability to identify challenges and opportunities to drive strategic planning efforts in integration, improvements to air traffic operations management, and strategic plans

* Ability to provide programmatic and technical support including managing program schedules, developing various briefing and informational products, such as whitepapers and presentations, and developing and disseminating meeting agendas and minutes

* Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Management Systems, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science

Nice If You Have:

* Experience developing strategic planning artifacts

* Experience with FAA budget analysis and business planning processes

* Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools

* Knowledge of new entrants and emerging concepts in areas of UTM, UAM, and AAM

* Knowledge of Space Launch and Reentry and Upper-Class E airspace operations

* Knowledge of air traffic operations and management

* Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis related to project planning and execution, life cycle acquisition planning, risk analysis, and budget analysis

* Ability to support technology and engineering aspects of program planning and execution

* Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment and handle multiple projects concurrently

* Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
