Summit Federal Services, LLC (SFS) with headquarters in Oakland, Maryland, is a fast growing woman owned Small Business and HUBZone company with an outstanding record of performance providing more effective and efficient acquisition, business process, training, IT, administrative and security services to multiple federal agencies.

SFS is looking for an Administrative Assistant in support of a pending proposal supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency located in Fort Belvoir VA. Must have Active Top Secret Clearance.


Essential Functions:

  • Assisting with the daily operation and management of the office.
  • Preparing briefing materials, papers, program plans, and other administrative materials.
  • Assisting with the technical writing of contract documentation for Directorate Departments.
  • Providing technical review of documents.
  • Assisting with tracking military and civilian personnel evaluations, recognition, awards, and other requirements.
  • Assisting with planning, organizing, executing, documenting and pre/post-support of workshops, training, conferences and meetings.
  • Overseeing calendars, taskers, deadlines, and office distribution.
  • Maintaining SharePoint lists, libraries, wiki pages, web parts, sites and sub-sites
  • Assisting with tracking, monitoring and responding to tasking and expenses.
  • Assisting with initiating and managing Government/contractor travel requests and authorizations

Qualifications:

  • Administrative assistant with 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in providing Office Administration and using applicable MS software (to include Sharepoint), and has a strong command of the English language with exceptional review abilities (grammar, punctuation, formatting, etc.).
  • Must be capable to function independently (or as a back-up to Administrators) in overseeing the office operations and needs, and have the skills and knowledge how to research issues/topics. Requires experience with the military and civilian evaluation systems, training systems, awards systems, and official correspondence/records management.
  • Must have active Top Secret Clearance.
