Utilizing AutoCAD, the architectural Cad Drafter is responsible for preparing detailed/scaled drawings of architectural design for buildings from sketches and rough drafts provided by the Architectural management.
WDD Employees are required, on a continual basis to:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Gather project requirements and specifications from architects and using AutoCAD and draw rough and detailed sketches, drawings, and plans to scale.
- Work collaboratively with Architecture team while adhering to critical deadlines and deliverables.
- Copy, read, edit and manage files safely and maintain files in a well-planned, well-organized manner.
- Update and modify design based on new information or at the request of an architectural supervisor.
- Ensure that changes do not have unforeseen effects on other design or construction elements.
- Perform calculations and review drawings for accuracy.
- May accompany Architects on jobsites, gathering data and taking measurements to verify elements including but not limited to elevation and surrounding areas and ensuring plans and specifications are followed.
- Answer questions that may arise when contractors and/or Construction review plans.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited technical school specializing in AutoCAD training with an emphasis on architectural drafting.
Preferred:
- Associate degree in Drafting
- Interest in international projects, four and/or five-star resort hospitality and residential design
- 3D cad modelling a plus
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Comprehensive experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Exchange, and Windows and latest version of AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino.)
- Ability to work in a creative, collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fast paced team environment.
- Ability to approach all tasks with proactive thinking and a comprehensive plan of action.
- Must be self-motivated, self-directed.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Must be comfortable with change in priorities, assignments.
- Professional demeanor and composure when dealing with critical deadlines and urgent requests.
- Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality, handling sensitive information concerning both the Company and its projects.
- Must be adept at multi-tasking and utilizing exceptional organizational skills.

- Must have an excellent personal presentation and possess the necessary skills and attributes to represent the qualitative character of WDD in all forms of communication and representation

Ability to read, comprehend, and compose complex instructions, correspondence, and memorandum. Ability to author correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on a project site, the noise level increases too loud. When on a project site, employees are required to comply with all contractor-imposed safety procedures.
Due to the unpredictable nature of the design industry, employees must be able to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the business.

As a salaried exempt team member of Wynn Design & Development, freelance consulting services, works-for-hire, or any outside services performed for compensation are dilutive to the responsibilities defined herein and are not permitted. Product design and licensing agreements are permitted but efforts required to support such business arrangements must not be performed during business hours and product may not be specified or sold to Wynn Resorts or its affiliates.
