Join our Distribution Center as an Inventory Control Associate! This role works within a warehouse environment and is responsible for the execution of inventory transactions for all of the Waterworks channels of business. These responsibilities include the accurate and timely processing of all inventory transfers and cycle counts. The right candidate must be highly motivated with a customer service mindset.

Key Accountabilities:

* The execution and facilitation of inventory transfers and cycle counts

* Partner with Distribution Center and Inventory Management in the execution of merchandise consolidations, inter-store transfers and inventory disposition processes

* Works in partnership with Warehouse Associates on transfers

* Execution of the Store Design inventory transfer requests

* Assist in the movement Store Design product to build out

* Perform cycle counts and variances

* Other duties and projects as assigned

**Required Skills**

Required Experience/Skills:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

* 2-4 years of related experience and/or training in distribution/logistics, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or other warehouse environment

* Current forklift/reach/cherry picker certification or the ability to become certified is required

* Must have working knowledge, or demonstrate the ability to be able to use and understand the use of, personal computer applications, and various software including but not limited to, RF scanning equipment, FedEx Ship Manager, and Microsoft Office

* Good organizational and communication skills

* Ability to take verbal direction, work independently and cooperatively as part of a team.

* Attention to detail/accuracy

* Ability to partner with other departments and take lead role in ensuring proper management of inventory

* Independent, self-starter

* Detail oriented and organized, with excellent follow?through skills

Physical Demands:

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.

* The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, pull/push, climb and balance, and to be elevated up to 20 feet in the air on harnessed equipment.

* The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 110 pounds with assistance from one other Associate.

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
