RESPONSIBILITIES: - Process and verify financial and legal documents of vehicles to finalize sales deals.
- Prepare and process title and tax documents of vehicles
- Processing all titling documents through electronic vehicle registration program and/or DMV offices.
- Posting all titling transactions and monitor corresponding schedules.
- Prepare legal transfer documents to submit to the state motor vehicles department.
- Verify and analyze free-and-clear title issues, odometer reading and VIN number.
- Process and verify incoming titles accurately
- Ensure compliance of state, federal or local laws in processing titles
- Adhere to company guidelines and procedures in title clerical activities
- Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions
REQUIREMENTS: - Automotive Dealership experience preferred
- Two+ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience a plus
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills
- Dealertrack DMS experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly motivated self-starter capable of meeting time deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced, high volume dealership
- Must be a team player with integrity and strong work ethics
