We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer in the application Integration space to develop and implement systems architecture that will meet business needs function in Arlington VA. The Systems Engineer's responsibilities include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current software systems in place in order to identify areas in need of improvement.
Responsibilities:
* Minimum 2-5 years of Enterprise Interface Integration design/development/troubleshooting experience on SAP PI/PO, Integration Suite.
* Analyze Requirements, and Design Integrations as per requirements.
* Hands-on with REST/HTTPS/SOAP/SFTP/JDBC/MAIL/PROXY adapters.
* Hands-on with establishing Integrations leveraging the SAP Cloud Connector.
* Well versed with various security protocols, TLS, SFTP, OAUTH, API keys, PGP Keys, Certificates & key based authentications.
* Maintain Security Artifacts in Integration Suite.
* Monitor Integration Flows in Integration Suite.
* Develop and Maintain API Endpoints on Integration Suite APIM.
* Experienced most common integration patterns like A2A, B2B, and On-Premise to Cloud, and Cloud to Cloud.
* Configure PI/PO Automatic Alerts.
* Development of Integration Flows on Integration suite
* Develop mappings using PI/PO GUI, CPI GUI, XSLT, and Groovy Mapping
* Oversee integration of systems and data from the Plant control systems, Plant IT systems to Corporate IT systems
* Aptitude for taking on responsibilities outside the core competency.
* Support all interfaces across all applications to/from SAP S4 HANA, FIS- ETRM, Coupa & several third-party cloud based/on premise service providers.
* Triage and Resolve integration problems as they arise.
* Support the business with production issues ensuring systems are online.
* Liaison with vendors on application version enhancements, patches, etc.
* Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or commensurate work experience
* Strong organizational and leadership skills
* Experience in SAP PI/PO, Integration suite.
* In-depth understanding of coding languages: JAVA, ABAP, Groovy, XSLT
* Experience with XPATH Query, Regular Expressions
* Well versed with XML and JSON
* Experience with using troubleshooting tools: Postman, curl.
* Knowledge of newer integration models like API Architecture, Event Driven architecture, and ability to lead teams and clients in setting the right architecture for their future.
* Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Leadership skills and ability to coordinate and clearly communicate cross functionally
* Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design
* Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience integrating between Plant IT systems, SaaS applications, SAP S4 Hana, and cloud environments (Azure or AWS) in a manufacturing environment
* Hands-on experience implementing simultaneous projects
* Preferred SAP Integration Suite Certification.
* Integration experience with Plant Maintenance application for tool management, operator rounds, plant maintenance, planning & scheduling.
