EMPLOYMENT STATUS
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Consulting Manager, you will:
- Manage and train internal staff as well as accounting personnel atclient offices
- Provide financial statement analysis including but not limited todeveloping management reports and KPIs
- Assist with developing GAAP financial statements including thefollowing:
- Preparation of bank reconciliations
- Analysis of accounts receivable and allowance for doubtful accounts
- Analysis and capitalization and amortization of prepaid expenses
- Inventory costing and valuation analysis
- Analysis and accrual of expenses
- Reconciliation of debt and accrued interest
- Analysis of profit and loss statement including consideration of revenue and
expense recognition principles
- Reconciliation of other balance sheet accounts based on the client sbusiness
- Evaluate, recognize, and provide recommendations for improvements tosystems and processes within an accounting function to ensure proper internalcontrols
- Assistance with preparation of financial projections and forecastsincluding analysis of budget to actual results on an on-going basis
- Assistance with evaluation and analysis of debt financing and othercapital-raising alternatives
- Assistance with buy and sell side diligence
- Participate withthe Assurance department and assist with preparation, compilation, or reviewengagements
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of relevant experience working in a public accounting firm orexperience as a full-charge bookkeeper, assistant controller, or controllerwithin an accounting department in industry
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-timebasis upon hire
- Manufacturing andDistribution experience is a plus
SKILLREQUIREMENTS
- Experience with QuickBooks required
- Experience with other ERP systems like NetSuite is a plus
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookup and pivot tables
- Outstanding organization and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and coordinating priorities with the helpof more senior members of the team
- Highly motivated and takes initiative for professional growth anddevelopment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability toclearly communicate issues internally and with clients
- Positive attitude and excitement to learn
- Ability to travel to client locations
- Ability to work overtime,as needed
