Responsibilities:

• Help the Product Owner, Scrum Master and team translate business needs and design
• requirements into actionable items to help develop new products.
• Leverage operational judgement, technical expertise and leadership skills on turbine machinery
• design / product development to understand a true problem that needs to be solved then be a
• solution provider.
• Execute, provide guidance, and collaborate with technical experts on the design, analysis, and
• evaluation of design projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business
• standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
• Document, prepare and present technical data and results in technical program reviews with
• internal and external customers.
• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of key business drivers; use this understanding to own work as well as mentor others.
• Provide timely communications to team members on significant issues or developments and
• promote open dialogue.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
• At least 8 years of experience in Design engineering position
• Demonstrated expertise in turbo machinery mechanical design
• Significant experience in the design, development testing of turbo machinery
• Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and principles.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of the organization and provide guidance to engineers with less experience
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems with a sense of urgency
