Looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented problem solver to join our dynamic team as an Assembler! If you're the type of person who loves to roll up your sleeves, work with your hands, and take on new challenges every day, then this job is for you.

As an Assembler, you'll be an integral part of our team responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, sandblasting, inspection, measurement, reassembly, and painting of customer valves and parts using overhead and jib cranes. Not only will you gain valuable experience in the industrial equipment industry, but you'll also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team to support hydro testing and functional testing of pressure containing parts. How You'll Make an Impact

* Inspecting parts for quality achievement

* Performing DCI on Valves (Disassemble, Clean and Inspect)

* Assembly and installation of parts according to instruction

* Participate with all to keep the plant safe, organized, and clean, including cleaning your area daily

* Dis-assembling, cleaning, inspecting, and assembling equipment

* Use of overhead crane safety skills effectively

* Complete employment requirements, such as passing a drug screen and background check

* Follow Siemens Energy policies and procedures

What You Bring

* Experience/ ability to use overhead crane

* Previous experience on Trip and Throttle Valves (preferable)

* Following the targets and deadlines for assembling process and preparing reports on daily basis

* Bring drive and initiative to work efficiently

* Experience level is early professional, manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.

* Education level required is a high school diploma or equivalent.

* Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English language to understand instructions and other writings on the job description, follow warnings, safety and quality signage as well as writing communication when required on work instructions or sharing to team.

* Experience working with common workshop tools including but not limited to wrenches, pneumatic tools, grinders, etc.

* Good judgment and comprehension to plan, perform, follow written and verbal instructions and make decisions as to the building, quality inspection, manipulating and the counting of parts, operations, and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.

* Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
