**Job Description**
**SUMMARY**
The **Material Handler** transports foundry materials such as bins, flasks, and tubs. Operates annealing oven, dust collectors, and tumble blast.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
* Operate all fork and stand-up-rider forklifts.
* Operate Skid loader as needed.
* Operate annealing oven.
* Transport materials from molding lines to the cleaning room.
* Unload deliveries and deliver materials to foundry work centers.
* Operate tumble blast.
* Operate and maintain dust collectors.
**Critical Competencies**
* Must demonstrate ability to read, understand and interpret Standard Work, in the English language.
* Ability to follow directions, work in a face paced environment, and prioritize tasks in lean manufacturing environment.
* Ability to safely maneuver equipment in tight spaces and around obstructions.
**Job Requirements**
**Education and Experience Requirements**
* HS Diploma or GED required.
* Minimum of 3 years forklift experience preferred.
* Successful completion of TB Woods Powered Industrial Vehicle/Forklift License training and certification required upon hire.
**Physical Demand and Work Environment:**
Work environment Regular exposure to noise levels at or above 85 decibels during shift; hearing protection required. Regular exposure to dust particles. Respirator must be worn during shift; medical clearance required. May be exposed to weather elements, primarily temperature changes, during shift.
Physical requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to stand for long periods of time during entire shift. Must be able to climb a ladder to retrieve materials.
