Our Hickory, NC Flexibles location has an hourly opening for an Inventory Clerk. This is a "boots on the ground" position that will interact daily with the hourly workforce in the plant. While this is a day shift position with hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., M-F, candidate must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
The successful candidate will be proficient with MS office and have prior experience with inventory management systems, preferably ERP. Candidate must be able to multi-task and have excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Daily review and reconciliation of any variances associated with the daily production records.
* Daily review of bin locations, including trailers, and reconcile with Oracle.
* Assist in directing and executing monthly and annual physical inventory counts of raw materials, work in process, and finished goods.
* Lead the root cause corrective action (RCCA) investigation for all variances; RAWs and finished goods. Implement process/transaction/audits to improve accuracy and eliminate errors.
* Collect daily RAW material adjustment sheets from material handlers and make entries into Oracle as required.
* Execute required transactions, in Oracle, for finished good inventory placed on quality hold by the quality department.
* Support quality department in locating and making available any inventory within the warehouse locations.
* Active member on Quality Management pillar team
* Assist the shipping coordinator with inventory inquiries and etc.
* Willing to fill in for material handler or shipper in emergency situations as defined by warehouse supervisor
* Operate a fork truck
* Other duties as assigned by warehouse supervisor
**Base Rate: $21/hr**
