Job Description:

* Utilize DEU expertise to implement the Delegated Examining Unit process effectively. This involves managing competitive examinations, evaluating candidate qualifications, and making selections based on merit principles.

* Collaborate with hiring managers to conduct thorough job analyses. Develop accurate and comprehensive job announcements that describe position duties, qualifications, and evaluation criteria.

* Develop outreach strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for vacant positions. Utilize various recruitment channels, such as job boards, government websites, and social media.

* Review applications and assess candidates' eligibility and qualifications based on the established criteria. Determine the best-qualified candidates for further consideration.

* Create valid and reliable assessment tools, such as written tests, structured interviews, and other evaluation methods, to assess candidates' skills and competencies related to the job requirements.

* Administer assessments and evaluate candidates' performance against established criteria. Score and rank candidates to identify the top performers.

* Coordinate and conduct structured interviews with candidates who have passed the initial assessment. Collaborate with hiring managers to develop interview questions that assess candidates' suitability for the position.

* Apply merit-based principles to select candidates based on their performance in the assessment process. Ensure that the selection process is fair, transparent, and in compliance with federal regulations.

* Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions, assessment results, and selection outcomes. Generate reports and documentation required for audit and reporting purposes.

* Stay current with federal regulations, laws, and guidelines related to the DEU process. Ensure that all recruitment activities are compliant with applicable federal standards.

* Work closely with hiring managers, HR personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless recruitment process. Provide guidance and support to hiring managers regarding the DEU process.

* Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the DEU recruitment process. Implement best practices to enhance the quality of candidate selection.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, psychology preferred.

* Minimum of three (3) years of Federal Recruiting and Staffing.

* May require DEU Certification and/or prior DEU Certification.

* Experience completing job analyses in coordination with hiring managers, posting job announcements on USAjobs and USAStaffing, performing qualifications adjudications, and issuing selection certificates.

* Experience with Federal recruiting applications (USA Staffing, USA Hire, eQip, HR Connect, Monster Government, etc.).

* Basic knowledge and understanding of Federal HR personnel regulations, rules, recruiting and staffing process and policies.

* Ability to interact with individuals at all levels to request and provide information.

* Attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

* Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Required Qualifications:

* Must be able to obtain and maintain the required government security check.

* U.S. Citizen.
