Baldwin General Contracting is hiring for carpenters to work on projects in the Willamette Valley and surrounding areas in the Pacific Northwest. Carpenters work directly under the supervision of the Superintendent and Foreman, while representing the company in a professional manner.

Primary Duties

• Demonstrates quality in all work
• Utilizes proper lifting techniques
• Initiates all work as scheduled & with available materials.
• Supervise laborer to ensure safe work practices and appropriate task assignments
• Maintains own tools for job and uses the right tool for right job
• Uses proper start / stop / clean up procedures
• Erects / Installs CIP ad or precast concrete panels.
• Completes layout / frames metal & wood, applies wood & cement to siding of buildings efficiently / effectively
• Installs windows, doors, hardware, cabinets, trim and is a competent carpenter

Qualifications

• Understands the duties of a carpenter, with 2-3 years of verifiable experience.
• Understands utilization and maintenance of all PPE Equipment.
• Able to understand and read Architectural & Engineering plans.
• Understand and is proficient in the erection of scaffolding systems.
• Aware of different means & methods of construction
