Clark Associates, Inc. is looking for an exceptional individual to join our IT team. Inventory Control Specialists within the IT Department at Clark Associates, Inc. are responsible for overseeing asset management and related purchasing duties to support the end user technology environment of our employees. The centralized IT Department supports multiple companies and our Inventory Control team is responsible for developing and maintaining processes that streamline the IT Departments current and future needs related to purchasing, inventory control, asset management, and related reporting. No technical IT experience is required for this role.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage day-to-day purchasing of equipment, software, and licensing for Company needs

* Maintain accurate records of goods received and shipments made

* Maintain consistent stock of inventory, ordering replenishments up to pre-authorized limits

* Identify and optimize purchasing activities to be efficient and cost-effective

* Support the development and operation of a robust asset management program that ensures all equipment and software inventories are accurately maintained

* Manage a regular audit process to verify the accuracy of software subscriptions and related services

* Develop and maintain good working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders

* Support the preparation of periodic reports and analyses regarding IT operations, including equipment, software, users, and tickets

**Qualifications**

* Proficiency with MS Office required (Outlook, Word, Excel)

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understanding

* Knowledge of Basic Inventory Control concepts.

* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

* Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence

* Service leadership approach with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations

* Ability to work independently and within a team

Some work from home shifts are available for this position, but candidate must be able to commute to and work from our Tampa, FL office.
