**Description**
***We are looking for a full-time warehouse worker / Order Packer for our Salt Lake, Utah, Seafood Distribution Center!***
This position is a combination of an Order Packer, Warehouse worker.
We are looking for someone that has experience in the handling and processing of frozen meat or seafood. This is an important position with room to make decisions, work with plant and sales personnel, and be a strong member of the team. Some understanding of inventory control and production desired. Must be accurate in recording of product information, understand basic math, and able to communicate with all employees, especially the sales staff.
**Essential functions of the job include:**
* Properly pick and pack each frozen order accurately by customer standards and specifications
* Properly rotate and pick frozen product to specifications
* Properly label boxes with customer name, route number, weights, and contents in each box
* Weigh product or count pieces before packing and record weights/counts with 100% accuracy
* Understand safety and manufacturing practices in the handling of food products
* Receives incoming product and records weight, number of boxes, species, counts, each, size
* Working in Cooler environment
* Packing Orders to customer specifications
* Cleaning Production area
* Making Boxes
* Lifting boxes / stacking on pallets
**We require:**
* Able to lift 50 lbs.
* Drug test and criminal background checks
