** Job Description**
**Position Summary**
The primary purpose in Order Processing and Fulfillment is to provide support services in typing, preparing, packaging, and dispensing pharmaceuticals.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
* Assists in preparing and dispensing office use orders in bulk
* Performs all office use duties, to include but not limited to, accurately type orders, dispense products, and maintain records and inventory
* Possesses thorough understanding of office use products
* Ability to read and understand prescriber orders for office use medications
* Labels boxes with ordered medications
* Checks stock to determine inventory levels; anticipates needed products and supplies; places and expedites orders; removes outdated products; puts away products throughout the day in an orderly manner to assure area is organized
* Maintains production standards and levels
* Performs other work-related duties as deemed appropriate by pharmacist on duty

* Able to lift to 30 pounds
**Experience and Qualifications**
* High school diploma or GED
* O ne year of experience in packaging or dispensing
* Must be willing to register with Texas Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician or Trainee
* Healthcare experience preferred
* Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel )
