**Job Description:**
**ACCOUNTABILITIES** **:**
**Essential Functions:**
1. Packs and ships textbooks and instructional materials in response to requests.
2. Reshelves returned materials.
3. Assists with maintaining an accurate inventory of MIRC materials,
4. Pick-up and deliver books and materials to and from the post office.
5. Pick-up and deliver campus and county materials as needed.
**Marginal Functions:**
1. Performs other duties as assigned.
**CONDITIONS** :
**Equipment Used**: Computer, scanner, high-density mobile shelving and shipping carts.
**Performance Standard**: Must insure accurate, timely shipping and reshelving of materials 100% of the time.
**Work Environment**: Standard office conditions with overhead fluorescent lighting, 70-80 degree air temperature and available window ventilation. Ability to lift up to up to 40 pounds.
**Work Schedule**: 20 daytime hours Monday-Friday with daily half hour unpaid lunch; flextime or additional hours are required on an infrequent basis.
**Pay:** $12.50/hour
**Experience and Skills:**
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
- General knowledge of computer operations and software applications, data entry, keyboarding.
- General knowledge of customer service concepts and human relations skills.
- Experience with email order system or inventory control preferred.
- Valid Maryland motor vehicle operators Class C license.
- HS Diploma or GED equivalency required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
