PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Material Handler to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Aiken, SC. This is an initial 5-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Description:
- We are seeking Material Handlers to safely and accurately pick parts, store, package, ship, and support manufacturing with material flow.
- Candidate must be able to operate a forklift and perform job in a safe and timely manner.
Requirements:
- Candidates with manufacturing experience and warehouse experience are preferred.
- Must have at least 3 years of forklift operation experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work with a team.
- Availability to work overtime.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to physically lift objects up to 30 pounds.
- Possess a strong work ethic.
- Possess basic math skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- US Citizenship.
Desired:
- Experience with Oracle software system.
- Experience with handheld scanners.
- Experience operating different types and sizes of forklifts.
- Experience transporting heavy/irregular loads.
- Cycle Counting experience.
