Job Details

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees federal government contract administration activities, with emphasis on adherence to contract requirements and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs).
  • Ensures compliance with all US Government contract reporting requirements.
  • Reviews contract/subcontract modifications and proposals for completeness, compliance and accuracy.

  • Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy. As appropriate, contribute to or influence company policies.
  • Monitor compliance by company employees with established procedures. Identify areas of recurrent pressure.

  • Assists in coordinating efforts across multiple business functions to ensure amendments, change orders and other agreements and documents comply with CHI's contracts as well as applicable government policies and procedures.

  • Work with finance and legal departments to ensure adherence to broader legal, finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies, export controls etc.
  • Support business development and sales departments to ensure company products and services are offered with appropriate, competitive terms and conditions.
  • Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.
  • Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.)
  • Ensure contract close-out, extension, or renewal.


OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for supporting and adhering to company policies and procedures.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience with US Government contracts.
  • Knowledge of and skills in application of procedures in federal government contracting and procurements, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Certified Federal Contracts Managers (CFCM) preferred.
  • Aerospace industry experience preferred.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to deal with difficult customers or situations in a positive and professional manner are required.
  • Attention to detail and ability to resolve problems are essential to this position.
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment and consistently produce results.
  • Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) as a U.S. Person.
