Our CAD engineer will be focusing on Digital Design Flow Enablement by working closely with product design teams to define and develop advanced digital EDA flows and methodologies and spread best-known methods to support Innophase IoT Ultra-Low-Power portfolio. In this position, you will work with designers and with all major EDA vendors to improve the front and back-end design process across all designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside Innophase IoT design team and understand digital front-end and back-end design requirements.
- Work with the global Design Enablement team and with all major EDA vendors to develop and improve front-end/backend digital design flows.
- Work with IT to ensure all front-end/backend design tools are properly installed and configured.
- Work with IT and Security specialists to enable design in a secure design environment; identify potential security-related issues and propose solutions.
- Identify best practices and spread them across the company.
Qualifications:- BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related area
- 6+ years' experience in Front-End SoC design (ESL, verification, or DFT)
- Experience with front-end and back-end design tools from Cadence, Synopsys, and Siemens (system-level design, verification, Synthesis, or DFT, and Physical Design)
- Strong experience working in a Linux HPC environment. The candidate must have the ability to diagnose compute environment (operating system, networking, or storage) issues to resolve them.
- Experience with Windows software installation a plus.
- An analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
