Opportunity for CRNA to practice in a care team model at Prince William Surgery Center/Haymarket Surgery Center in Manassas, VA, with easy access to Washington, DC

Description

NAPA is actively recruiting to build our care team models at both of our Surgery Centers in Prince William County. You will work closely with our Medical Directors, build relationships with the nursing staff and surgeons. You will work in an environment where you are valued, respected, and able to practice the full scope of your education and training.

Case Assignments

ENT, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, podiatry, spine, urology, and dental. Opportunity to provide regional, peds (experience a plus).

Shift

Day shifts non-call taking available. Mon-Fri: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM or 7:00 AM3:00 PM shifts available. Rotational: Mon-Thursday: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM (Monday-Thursday x2 a month), 7:00 AM-5:00 PM (Tuesday-Friday x2 a month). Will credential at both ASCs and rotate between locations.

Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discusses anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
