DESCRIPTION
Sagamore Spirit is seeking motivated, team-oriented applicants that are ready for the challenge of a physically demanding role. This role includes work at our distillery, as well as our barrel aging facilities. Teammates need to be flexible and able to travel between facilities depending on their daily duty.
Packaging Operators handle the following:
- The Bottling Line
- Filling
- Corking
- Labeling
- Packaging
- Palletizing
- Barreling:
- Barrel Filling
- Barrel Dumping
- Barrel Racking
- Loading/Unloading Barrel Trucks
SKILLS- Quick learner
- Detail oriented
- Strong communicator
- Team player
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Ability to consistently roll barrels when they are empty (100 pounds) and full (
500 pounds) - Ability to work with a teammate to stand up and knock down full barrels
- Ability to work with a teammate to stack and unstack empty barrels
- Ability to spend 8 hours on your feet constantly moving around
REQUIREMENTS- High School Graduate or comparable GED Program Certificate
- 21 or Older
- Able to work nights or weekends as required
COMPENSATIONStarting rate: $18/hour
