XGLab S.r.l., a company based in Milano whose core-business is the development of high-performance electronics and innovative instrumentation for X-ray and Gamma-ray applications, is looking for one Software Developer/Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Involvement in the development, analysis, improvement, and testing of front-end software and GUI for various ad-hoc devices.
- Ability to work with back-end software to control specific hardware platforms.
- Management and processing of data from electronics systems.
- Handling complete scientific analytical instrumentation for industries and research applications.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Computer Science, Electronics, Physics or related ICT Engineering Masters degree or Bachelors degree.
- Minimum 2-3 years Expertise in object-oriented and multi-threading programming.
- Good experience in C# programming in Microsoft .Net environment.
- Experience in C/C++ programming.
- Good experience with IDE Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Good experience with Windows Form UI.
- Experience in hardware communication protocol (e.g USB, HID, TCP/IP).
- Experience with Embedded Systems (Windows and Linux based)
- Working with team attitude.
- Good English.
- Problem-solving attitudes.
Appreciated Skills and Tools:
- Experience in programming of Microcontrollers.
- Experience in Scripting Language (e.g. Python)
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g. ModBus, Profinet, Profibus)
- System integration, debugging and problem-solving attitudes.
- Ability to interact with customers and suppliers.
